Susana Brooks, AP, LAc

Meet Susana, a licensed Certified Acupuncture Physician and NCCAOM Diplomate of Oriental Medicine in Florida. She graduated with honors from Grand Valley State University in 2006 before obtaining her Master in Oriental Medicine from the Acupuncture and Massage College in 2022, where she graduated as valedictorian. 

Susana's passion for helping others began twelve years ago when she started practicing martial arts and yoga, which led to her becoming a certified yoga teacher. She specializes in teaching mindfulness, relaxation techniques, and restorative yoga flows. Additionally, she is a certified Ayurveda Health Counselor, having studied in the United States and India.

She is now pursuing her doctorate in Oriental Medicine at Five Branches University while studying holistic kinesiology. 

Susana has a positive attitude toward life, and her enthusiasm, compassion, and calm demeanor are noticeable from the moment you meet her. She is fluent in English and Spanish, having been born and raised in Peru. 

As a practitioner, Susana takes pride in her gentle and effective acupuncture treatments, which may include modalities such as moxibustion, guasha, cupping, e-stim, herbal formulas, tuina, and homeopathic injection therapy. Treating and educating patients is her true calling and something she enjoys.
